COVID-19 PROCEDURES
Beginning 3/7/2022 masks will be optional for all staff and families no matter their vaccination status. You may choose to mask at any time for your comfort level. The only exceptions to this would be due to exposure to someone with COVID-19 or a positive diagnosis of COVID-19.
Please continue to monitor your child and other household members for symptoms and notify the weekday office if symptoms arise.

DROP OFF
Drop off times will be between 7:00am and 9:30 am. Please limit your drop off time at the classroom to 5 minutes or less so that you do not become an exposure to the students if you become ill.
We will continue to follow our regular handwashing, cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting procedures. Classroom materials will be rotated to ensure they are cleaned often and properly,
and we will intensify cleaning
and disinfecting of high-touch surfaces (tables, doorknobs, faucets, chairs, cubbies, playground equipment, etc.)
LUNCHES
Lunches will go directly into your child’s cubby. This will help prevent cross-contamination.
We will no longer refrigerate
or heat any food brought into
the preschool. An ice pack can
be used to keep food cold,
and a thermos can be used to keep food warm. Breastmilk
and formula will be kept in the classroom refrigerator and warmed.
LUNCH PROCEDURES
We will discontinue our family style dining practice to reduce the spread of germs at mealtime. Teachers will serve snacks to the children while wearing gloves. Teachers will continue to sit with the children while they are eating to supervise and prevent contamination or sharing of food.
CLEANLINESS
HEALTH SCREENINGS
Please screen your child at home for any health concerns and take their temperature before coming to school. If they have a temperature over 100.4, cough, runny nose/congestion, diarrhea, vomiting, fatigue, shortness of breath, stomach ache, headache, rash, or any other signs of illness, please do not bring them to school.

SIGNING IN/OUT
When signing your child in and out each day through brightwheel, you will need to confirm the 3 health questions regarding symptoms and exposure to COVID-19. If any of these statements cannot be confirmed, your child may not come to school. You will need to stop in the weekday office to receive guidance.
